The administration of the American president Donald Trump plans to terminate the remaining contracts of the federal government with the University of Harvard, according to a letter which should be sent to federal agencies on Tuesday.
The letter, from the US General Services Administration, orders all federal agencies to examine and potentially terminate or reassign their contracts with Harvard, that an official estimated at around $ 100 million.
Harvard did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
This decision marked the last instance of the administration of the Republican President who undermines the financial and most rich world and richer global status in the country after having rejected government demands for many changes to its policies.
The government has already dismissed nearly $ 3 billion in federal research subsidies for the Ivy League school and moved last week to revoke its ability to register international students. These approximately 6,800 students represent approximately 27% of Harvard’s total registration.
