The former volunteers of Tennessee Nico Iamaleava gave a good reaction to his ex-teammate Bru McCoy after announcing his retirement.
McCoy announced his retirement from football at the age of 24 for medical reasons. He suffered a horrible leg injury in 2023, but was able to return last season, but now retired.

“It is with a heavy heart but a feeling of gratitude that I share with you guys that I made the difficult decision to make my medically retirement from football,” said McCoy in the position. “It was one of the most difficult decisions of my life, but after a careful examination with my doctors, my family and the people closest to me, I came to the conclusion that it is the right way for my health and my long-term well-being.
“As many of you know, I came back and I played last year after what could have been an injury at the end of my career. I felt that it was my responsibility for myself, the coaches, the family and especially the community I have here in Knoxville to thank all the people who showed me throughout my trip to mean that you could not know. ”.
After McCoy published the post, Iamaleava commented on the post, sharing a nice message of three words to his old receiver.

“I love you brother,” wrote Iamaleava in the comments.
Iamaleava was able to play with McCoy for two seasons, but in his first season, he was the replacement for Joe Milton.
In its only season as a quarter-arre starting from Tennessee, McCoy succeeded 39 passes for 472 yards and two affected with Iamaleava as a starting quarter.
McCoy ended up his university career with 129 receptions for 1,592 yards and nine affected in 35 games.
Nico Iamaleava leaves Tennessee for Ucla
Nico Iamaleava was the quarter-Arrière starting from volunteers for a season when he entered the Printemps transfer portal and committed to the UCLA.
Iamleava had a zero dispute with Tennessee because he wanted more money, but Josh Heupel and the volunteers decided to go from him and not give in to his requests.
“We are moving on like a program without him,” said Heupel … “There is no one bigger than the” Power T. “”
Iamaleava quickly landed at the UCLA and will be the quarter of the Bruins in 2025. Last season in Tennessee, he launched 2,616 yards, 19 touched and 5 interceptions.
