At least, this is how the coach Tim cone described the performance of Holt who led the Gin Kings to a 98-80 victory on the painters of Elasto of the rain or Shine at the end of the elimination tower of the Philippine PBA cup.

The crucial victory earned Ginebra the last advantage of twice in the quarterfinals.
“It is Stephen in training. If you came to our practice and you looked at Stephen, it is Stephen all the time. This effort he brings on both sides of the ball is really phenomenal and he really gives the example,” said Cone.
“Tonight, he had a very good shooting evening and (he) led us to this department, but generally the other things in which he leads us, the defense, the movement of the ball, going to the boards and back in defense. He was crucial for us this evening.”
Holt played with 27 points, highlighted by 6 shots out of 11 long -term, 12 rebounds and four assists.

With the victory, the Gin Kings organized a confrontation with Converge in the playoffs.
“It was the last eliminations match, so we wanted to finish on the right note and continue this momentum that we have,” said Holt.
“This is our third try to try to win a championship, so we understand the task to be accomplished and every detail is now important for us,” he added.
