It is now reasonable to think that Giannis Antetokounmpo de Milwaukee finished third in this season for the MVP NBA price.
The NBA published the three finalists of its main trophies on Sunday evening, with Antetokounmpo on the MVP list alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of Oklahoma City and Nikola Jokic from Oklahoma City, the main main prices.

Jokic was the MVP of last season and bid for its fourth MVP prize in the past five years. Gilgeous-Alexander, the NBA score champion this season and the leader of a Thunder team who won 68 games while establishing a League record to Marge, is looking for his first MVP trophy.
They were considered to be such important favorites that BETMGM Sportsbook did not even offer realistic ratings towards the end of the regular season on someone else who wins. Gilgeous-Alexander was the favorite, Jokic was the second choice and no one else was likely 500-1.
Given that the All-NBA vote now essentially reflects the MVP vote, being a MVP finalist essentially guarantees a sign of the first team of the All-NBA. It will be the ninth appearance of this team for Antetokounmpo, the seventh for Jokic and the third for Gilgeous-Alexander.
The MVP finalists last year were Jokic, Gilgeous -Alexander and Luka Doncic – then Dallas, now Los Angeles Lakers.
A panel of writers and broadcasters who cover the NBA voted the prices last week. The NBA will announce the winners of the various prices, as well as the All-Nba and All-Rookie teams, in the coming weeks.

Year -round
Finalists: Kenny Atkinson, Cleveland; JB Bickerstaff, Detroit; IME UDOKA, Houston.
It is how good a race was: Mark Daigneault, who won last year, led Oklahoma City to a season of 68 wins and did not enter the Top three.
Atkinson led the riders to a season of 64 victories, the best of the Eastern Conference. He was announced on Saturday as the winner of the National Basketball Coaches Association Coaches Coaches Coach’s Prize, a distinct trophy for the Honers of the NBA.
Bickerstaff, in its first year with the pistons, and Udoka took their teams to the playoffs, and the Rockets obtained the head of n ° 2 in the West.
Last year: Daigneault won, with Chris Finch du Minnesota and Jamahl Mosley d’Orlando, the other finalists.

Recruit of the year
Finalists: Stephon Castle, San Antonio; Zaccharie Risacher, Atlanta; Jaylen Wells, Memphis.
Castle – Choice No. 4 of last year’s draft – could be the second consecutive recruit of the year of the NBA of San Antonio, after Victor Wembanyama was the unanimous winner last season.
Risacher and Wells were the markers Recrus n ° 3 and n ° 4 this season behind Castle. A notable omission: Alex Sarr de Washington, who collected an average of 13 points this season.
Last year: Wembanyama won, with Chet Holmgren from Oklahoma City and Brandon Miller from Oklahoma City and the other finalists.
Sixth man of the year
Finalists: Malik Beasley, Detroit; Ty Jerome, Cleveland; Payton Pritchard, Boston.
Pritchard is the overwhelming favorite, although voters clearly noted what Beasley did on the bench of pistons – making more than 300,300 points – and Jerome was particularly stable for the Cavs all season.
Last year: Naz Reid from Minnesota won, with Malik Monk from Sacramento and Bobby Portis de Milwaukee, the other finalists.
Most improved player
Finalists: Cade Cunningham, Detroit; Dyson Daniels, Atlanta; Ivica Zubac, Clippers of Los Angeles.
Cunningham directed the year of wild recovery from Detroit – a sequence of 28 consecutive defeats last season, the seeded n ° 6 this season – and should also be an all -nba selection. Daniels and Zubac both had exceptionally good seasons, especially on the defensive.
Last year: Tyrese Maxey from Philadelphia won, with Alperen Sengun from Houston and Coby White of Chicago, the other finalists.
Defensive player of the year
Finalists: Dyson Daniels, Atlanta; Draymond Green, Golden State; Evan Mobley, Cleveland.
Daniels was a machine to fly, Mobley has the gift of being able to defend the rim with physicity but not a fault, and Green seeks its second prize after winning it in 2016-2017.
Rudy Gobert du Minnesota remains on four Dpoy Awards, tied with the temple of basketball renown originally Dikembo Mutombo and Ben Wallace as winners of the most. Wembanyama – which won the title blocked this season – would probably have won this award in a leak if it had not been sidelined from the stars break with a deep venous thrombosis in one of its shoulders.
Last year: Gobert won, with Bam Adebayo and Wembanyama from Miami, the other finalists.
Year clutch player
Finalists: Jalen Brunson, New York; Anthony Edwards, Minnesota; Nikola Jokic, Denver.
I can’t be mistaken here. Edwards had 157 points in the clutch this season, Brunson had 150 and Jokic had 140.
Last year: Stephen Curry by Golden State won, with Demar Derozan – then from Chicago, now Sacramento – and Gilgeous -Alexander the other finalists.
