For more than a decade, the Tenorio has been the stable hand of Barangay Ginebra, its steel nerves, its creation of games and its clever leadership helping the Gin Kings at almost half of the 15 PBA crowns of the popular franchise.

“I joked that I gave him championships. It is time he gave me,” said the Iron Man of the League with a warm laugh.
Thompson, who has always produced for Barangay Ginebra in the championship duel against Old Tormentor TNT, can reimburse Tenorio this Wednesday in what should be an elongated match 6 of the final of the cup of the commissioner at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The time of the match is at 7:30 p.m., Thompson focusing on the first two tests of his team to win the mid-season crown.
“We just have to focus on a match. No past, no future,” he said. “Let’s see what we can do in the next match. But rest assured that we will give our best. “
