Florence, Italy – The Fiorentina striker Moise Kean was released from the hospital after collapsing on the field in a serial match on Sunday following a head injury.
Kean was swept away on a stretcher and taken to a local hospital after the incident in the second half of the Fiorentina match in Hellas Verona.

“Fiorentina can confirm that Moise Kean left Verona hospital overnight and returned to Florence. Medical and diagnostic tests all produced negative results, “said his club in a brief statement on Monday.

Kean had been struck in the face and had received a treatment for a deep cut on his eyebrow before returning to the game. But a few minutes later, he fell into the grass. The Italian international did not seem to lose consciousness.
It was the second time that a Fiorentina player has collapsed this season after Edoardo Bove has lost consciousness in December. Bove was placed in a medically induced coma, then had an implanted cardiac defibrillator.

Kean has the best season in his career, with 15 goals scored.
Verona continued to beat the Fiorentina 1-0 with Antoine Bernede with the winner five minutes after the time of downtime. The next Fiorentina match is Friday, at home in Lecce.
