Mark Galedo saw everything during the Luzon tour. And he appreciated each element of his experience as a dreaded rider.
“The race in the tour has always been exciting and satisfactory, one of the best moments of my career,” said Galedo, individual champion of multiple cyclists and constant podium finisher in the event at several stages.
He can experience the tour from another seat this time – one inside the team’s bus.
Galedo will serve as chief tactician and sports director of the 7eleven Cliqq Roadbike Philippines in their quest to govern the great edition of Renaissance of the legendary tour.
The race was put aside in 2020 due to the global health pandemic. He returned with a total of 119 runners from 17 teams, including four foreign teams.
Presented by the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), Duckworld Ph and Cigal TV, the eight -stages tour will start on April 24 in Paoay, Ilocos Norte and ends with a mountain mountain final inside the John Hay camp in Baguio City on May 1.
“There are many factors that could affect your success in each race. Our team will be ready for such challenges,” said Galedo, triple touring champion and individual gold medalist for the Southeast Asian Games 2013.
The 39 -year -old man took the fires of the ramp by capturing the general classification of the LPGMA 2009 tour of Luzon before winning the 2014 Filipinas Tour. Galedo also ruled the 2012 edition of the deceased Ronda Pilipinas.
Rench Michael Bondoc, John Patrick Pagtalunan, Rex Luis Krog, Daniel Josh Corpuz Will Houple 7eleven Roadbike Pho’s Bid on the road. King Vincent Mercado, Gilbert Valdez and Ruzel Agapito will provide support.
From the opening phase of 190.7 kilometers, excluding and rear at Paoay, step 2 will present the speed of each team in the team time trial of 68.39 km going to Vigan, Ilocos sur.

Stage 3 is another flat road from 130.33 km to San Juan, the Union, the next day. This will be followed by the 162.97 km race of Agoo, the Union in Clark in the fourth stage. Stage 5 includes 166.65 km of hot roads which will start and end with Clark via a new city from Clark to Capas, Tarlac.
Sanctioned by Philcycling, the local director in sport, the team champion will win the cash prize of 1 million pesos, plus the visit of the Luzon perpetual trophy. The general champion of individual classification will obtain 500,000 P.
CCN Factory HK foreign teams from Hong Kong, Malaysia Pro Cycling, Bryton Racing Team from Taiwan and Gapyeong Cycling Team from South Korea will add spices to the race.
