“Although we expected Farm Fresh to put up a tough fight, for us it was really about working together, not just the coaches but the players as well. Our communication had to be synchronized,” added Alinsunurin.

“I’m happy because we got the victory, but there are still a lot of things we need to work on, including focusing on our weaknesses, especially mine,” Rondina said. “I was nervous in the fifth set because my legs were starting to cramp, but with the help of my teammates, our determination and our desire to win, we succeeded.”

Three other Titans finished in double figures with Kat Tolentino’s 18 points built on 10 attacks, six blocks and two aces while Isa Molde and Cherry Nunag each had 10 points, thanks in large part to Mars Alba’s 25 excellent sets with only one point coming from an ace.
