Independence, Ohio – Koby Altman realizes that expectations for Cleveland horsemen who enter the next season will be very different.
This is life for a franchise which was the seeded of the Eastern Conference, but which ended its race in the playoffs, losing against the Indiana Pacers in the semi-finals of the NBA Eastern Conference.

Altman, the president of the Basketball Operations Cavaliers, knows that the most important objectives during the offseason are trying to ensure that the list is mentally and physically more difficult to manage to be considered one of the best teams in the League when the training camp begins at the end of September.
“I think we can all agree by arriving in the season, nobody predicted to us to be (the) seeded n ° 1. I do not think that anyone who had 64 victories. Because we were so good that we have recreated the expectations of the finals. I think everyone here saw potential champions, which is a new space for us,” said Altman. “We have recreated expectations and now we have to live with it. Altman built a solid nucleus group with Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen. The group played together for three seasons and proved that it can be great in the regular season. They had an improvement of 16 victories in the NBA coach of the year, the first season of Kenny Atkinson and were the head of the East for the first time in nine years.
The next step is however advanced beyond the semi-finals of the conference.

Altman underlined Indiana, Denver, Boston and Oklahoma City as teams that had to undergo increasing pain with their main players before succeeding.
Regarding the determining factor of the Indiana series, Altman stressed the end of match 2, which the Pacers won 120-119 on the 3-point pointer in Tyrese Haliburton with 1.1 seconds to play. The riders are above the two aprons of the salary ceiling, which means that trying to find more depth for the bench could be difficult, but the property gave Altman no restriction by entering the luxury tax.
While Mitchell attracts a lot of attention and big titles, the fortunes of the riders largely depend on Mobley taking another big step. Mobley was appointed defensive player of the NBA year and had a season in small groups after having an average of 18.5 points, 9.3 rebounds and was selected for the NBA stars match for the first time.
Mobley has also managed nine games this season with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
