Manila, Philippines – TNT lost its main artilleryman at the start of match 2 of the semi -finals of the Philippine PBA Cup against the rain or the sun, but Tropang 5G still had their former reliable to win the victory.
TNT set up an advance in the 2-0 series on Elasto’s painters after eliminating a victory of 113-105 in overtime, thanks to another heroic evening of Calvin oftana.

Oftana used the absence of Roger Pogoy at the end of the game as motivation to feed his hot shooting night which brought TNT of his third consecutive appearance in the final.

The out -of -competition performance of Gilas Pilipinas Forward came just in time after the early release of Pogoy.
In the first seconds of the second quarter, Pogoy went up for a lay-up but clumsily landed, aggravating his hamstrings in the process. He was replaced by Jordan and never returned.
“I make a hat to my Amigo. I told him that I really couldn’t come back and he told me that he had obtained it,” said Pogoy. “All the players have intensified and that’s how we really are. We have so many injured players, right? This is what it is.”
Helping Oftana to maintain the rain or the shine remotely, Nieto and Aurin, who scored 13, seven and seven points, respectively.
