Shyanne Sellers, daughter of the former NBA player who became a politician Brad Sellers, marked the birthday of her fiancée Faith Masonius Thursday by sharing a collection of personal photos and a touching message.
The sellers, who were selected 17th in the general classification of the WNBA 2025 by the Golden State Valkyries but released before the start of the season, posted ten affectionate photos with Masonius, subtitling them with a sincere tribute calling his fiancée his “forever”.
“Happy birthday to my eternity! I can’t wait to celebrate and go on this trip together,” she wrote. “I love you the most.”
Both come from the history of university basketball. The sellers played a goalkeeper in Maryland, where she collected an average of 12.9 points per game in four seasons. During her last year, she produced 14.4 ppg on 46.2% shots, 40.8% of which on a 3 -point range.
After being canceled by the Valkyries, the sellers were briefly recovered by Atlanta’s dream, but they also released it.
Masonius, meanwhile, played forward for Pirates Seton Hall.
The couple got engaged in April, announcing the news on Instagram, where the other college and WNBA players like Azzi Fudd, Nika Muhl and Jacy Sheldon celebrated the moment.

Although the professional trip of Shyanne sellers did not start as hoped for, Faith Masonius was vocal in his support.

In a recent Tiktok, Masonius addressed the first difficulties of the WNBA of the sellers and recognized how difficult the league can be to penetrate.
“Life has been quite hectic in the past two weeks,” she said. “I don’t want to put words in Shyanne’s mouth but I’m going to approach this conversation. If you follow Shyanne’s situation, W is a very competitive league.

The sellers, formerly projected as a choice among the 10, had a swirling spring.
Four days after her engagement on April 10, she was drafted on April 14. She started training camp on April 27 and was canceled on May 3.
It was signed by the dream on May 5, appeared in a pre-season match on May 10 and was canceled on May 12.
