Habs Youngster Lane Hutson won the Calder 2024-2025 trophy as a recruit of the NHL year. After the announcement, several Canadian players republished the team’s official position on their Instagram stories.

Captain Nick Suzuki added “Shocker” in the legend with a yawning emoji. Cole Caufield, Mike Matheson and Juraj Slafkovsky, all joined to show love for the 21 -year -old defender.

The youngster played the 82 games for the Habs this season, scored six goals and collected 60 assists, equaling the record of the NHL recruit. He also led all the recruits with 66 points and the most ice time.
