“They got Luka to do football exercises”

Lakers coach JJ Redick became a counterpart of the Rams Sean Mcvay on Wednesday in Woodland Hills. Redick looked carefully from the touchline while Mcvay led organized team activities on the first day or OTA. The Rams thanked Redick on X (formerly Twitter) to “stop today!”

Fans quickly reacted to the sight of McVay and Redick in the conversation.

S ** t, they had Luka doing football exercises for cardio

A fan said:

Do you all have a center that you can save?

Another fan added:

Please let it also ruin the Rams. If it was him, the Rams would play without an offensive line (clown)

Another fan continued:

Reddick taught him to dominate the season Reg then lose in the Tour

Another fan commented:

Sean Mcvay in Lakers?! đź‘€

In March, when the Lakers were in a fiercely contested positioning battle, Redick told journalists that he had already spoken to Mcvay. The Lakers’ bench tactician added that once the NFL and the NBA seasons started, it has become difficult for them to connect. While Redick’s team is on vacation and the Mcvay group is preparing for the new season, the two met on Wednesday.

Sean Mcvay had this to say when he was asked to comment on the visit of JJ Redick.

Always respected him from afar. A well thought out guy, a great desire to look internally (for) areas of improvement, to understand how you bring people together. I really appreciated that he comes out.

The RAMs will continue their OTA in the next three weeks before the compulsory mini-camp occurs. Redick’s observation may no longer surprise fans after its appearance in Woodland Hills.

JJ Redick wants his Lakers to be in “Shape Championship”

JJ Redick could not guide his Lakers in front of the Timberwolves of Minnesota in the first round of the NBA 2025 qualifiers. Despite LeBron James and Luka Donfic on the list, the Lakers lost via a gentleman’s Balayage.

After lost 103-96 in game 5 at home at the end of April, Redick told journalists what he wanted for his team.

“There are individuals who were in a phenomenal form, there are certainly others who could have been in better shape. We have to enter a championship.”

Redick relied on a short rotation in the playoffs, especially in match 4 on April 27 when he used the same five to the fourth quarter. Two nights later, he roughly used the same strategy in the loss of cliché of the series against the Timberwolves.

The coach conceded that the list needed to tinker during the offseason. The absence of a departure center for the Lakers was exhibited in the playoffs. However, JJ Redick, who wants his team to be in a “championship form”, could have been inspired by the OTA of the Rams under Sean Mcvay.
