Washington Capitals Tom Wilson and Canadian volleyball player Taylor Mackenzie Wilson was 31 years old this week. Friday, the caps star shared a series of Instagram stories on his account to celebrate the memorable opportunity.
One of the photos showed the couple standing near the beach, with Tom wearing a light blue shirt and white pants, and Taylor in a black dress. In legend, he wrote:
“Happy birthday @taylor_pischke ❤️”
He then posted a photo of Taylor in a pink patterned bikini, holding their son Teddy in his arms by a swimming pool.
“Best mom @taylor_pischke”, he legend the adorable story.
The final photo has shown that Taylor was laughing while sitting on a sofa while their company dog Halle licked his face.
“And Dog Maman @taylor_pischke,” added Tom Wilson in the legend.
Taylor and Tom got engaged in July 2021 and married on August 27, 2022 in Middleburg, Virginia. The couple has been together for almost a decade now.
Taylor has had a successful volleyball career, winning several national titles inside and at Beach Volley-Ball, and represented Canada internationally, including fourth place at the 2015 Pan American Games. It also has a B.SC. in microbiology and a MBA from George Washington University, and is active in volunteer animal rescue.
Tom Wilson and Capitals celebrated the legendary milestone of Alex Ovechkin
Earlier last month, Tom Wilson and his Washington Capitals teammates celebrated with Alex Ovechkin after the big record of the eight of Wayne Gretzky in the NHL Wayne Gretzky. Ovechkin scored his 895th career goal against New York Icelanders during a second -time power plane, assisted by Wilson, and he was one of the first to join Ovechkin on ice for celebration.
After the match, Tom Wilson, Jakob Chychrun, Dylan Strome and the rest of the capital celebrated with Ovechkin in the locker room. Chychrun later published several photos behind the scenes of the celebration on his Instagram.
The game itself was arrested for 15 minutes while the NHL commissioner, Gary Bettman and Gretzky, honored Ovechkin on the success of the stages. His wife Nastasiya and his sons Heya and Sergei were present at the moment.
That night, the caps continued celebrations in Balos Estiatorio in Washington, DC, where they were served a special cake.
Capitals won the metropolitan division and have now obtained the advantage of home ice for at least the first two qualifying series. They will play the clothes in the first round of the Stanley Cup qualifiers from next week.
