Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami introduces a new competition to transform “electronic culture” into “p-culture” in the state Haris Edu

The chief minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, introduced a brand new tournament to promote sports in his state. He launched the MLA sports competition in various assemblies of the Uttarakhand State to promote sports among young people.

Uttarakhand recently welcomed the Mega Event of the 2025 national games, where athletes from different parts of India have contributed in various sports. Shortly after, the Minister of Sports of the State, Rekha Arya, announced that her team planned to prepare at least 40 athletes to represent the nation at the 2036 Olympic Games.

Now Pushkar Singh Dhami has launched Sports MLA competition. The goal of this tournament is to give the athletes to come the opportunity to present their talent. This will give them a chance to compete with the best talents in the state.

“The growing electronic culture (electronic culture) among young people should be changed in culture P (game culture),” said CM Dhami at a meeting of the game changer of the young youth protection department at the secretariat on April 17.

The chief minister presented this program because he considers that young people should be linked to sports at the local level. In addition, this will also help maximize the use of sports equipment in the state.

The chief minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, also spoke of the importance of sports in the mental and physical development of young people. Emphasizing all the advantages and things that should be done, Dhami said:

“For the physical and mental development of young people, they should have training in adventure sports activities, pre-recruitment training in the army, paramilitaries and police forces. For their best future, consulting centers should be set up and they should be guided on education, employment and other aspects. Regular awareness programs should be carried out to prevent toxicomia among young people.

Dhami concluded by saying that with sports programs, local cultural events should also occur in multipurpose centers. He also ordered the chief secretary to regularly examine the play changes projects.
