Mikel Arteta on the 0-0 Arsenal draw against the Nottingham in PL forest

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta shared his reflections on the draw of his team against the Premier League forest. During the post-match press conference, the Spanish manager expressed his disappointment with regard to the results while enjoying the efforts of his players on the field. He said (via the club’s official website):

“Very disappointing not to win it. Today, the standards were very different from the previous game; the energy, the will to get things to get things through. We have certainly tried in many different ways, we dominated the game outside a fate in the second period after one or two direct free kicks where they had something in the box and one or two gifts that allowed them to run, apart from there.”

“With the quantity of situations we have generated, with the moments when we opened them, we do not have the final pass, the quality of this delivery and certainly more shots on the target to win it and be more efficient,” added Arteta.

Mikel Arteta’s men maintained a 65% ball possession against Nottingham Forest while having a total of 13 shots, only one of which was on the target. Arsenal has created two major chances and had 30 keys in the penalty area.
